Free event: Indigenous women on the frontline: A feminine response to the threat to the Amazon

We are delighted and honoured to host Myrian Gualinga, president of the Women’s Association of Kuriñampi of the Kichwa Community of Sarayaku in Ecuador.

During this interactive online event, Myrian will talk how, across the Amazon rainforest, women — mothers, sisters, elders, daughters and young leaders — are protecting their territories and defending their water and ancestral land, reviving and preserving their way of life and traditions to secure the future of their peoples and the land they so closely inhabit.
