SUMMARY:Soul Journeys for Women: Connecting to the Power of the Wild Woman
DESCRIPTION:Soul Journeys for Women: Connecting to the Power of the Wild Woman \nThe ‘authentic wild woman’ is a powerful aspect of women’s deeper self. She can appear in various forms\, such as the medicine woman\, the fierce changemaker\, the heroine\, the free spirit\, the witch\, the earth wisdom keeper\, the fierce mother or the passionate creative. In archetypal myths we find her in figures such as Lilith\, Medusa\, Casandra or Kali. \nNo matter which form she takes within us\, all of us had to disconnect from her energy\, her wisdom and creativity to an extent\, and curtail her full power\, as she has been feared throughout patriarchal history and consequently belittled\, manipulated\, shamed\, suppressed or even openly persecuted. \nIn this workshop we will use deep shamanic journeying\, sound vibrations\, dance and ceremony to re-connect with\, awaken\, listen to and honour our ‘inner creative wild woman’\, which is vital if we want to stand in our feminine power\, express ourselves uniquely and walk our authentic path. \n

SUMMARY:Medicine Wheel Journeys of Spirit Connection and Empowerment
DESCRIPTION:This new one-day workshop in the series ‘shamanic soul journeys’ will connect you with the universal spirit essences of the four directions in nature as well as within you. \nThe Medicine Wheel has been used since ancient times to connect with spirit and to explore and empower deeper layers of the Self. Each of us\, just as the universe itself\, embodies the four directions of the Wheel. They represent different spiritual\, emotional and physical aspects of ourselves\, which need to be strengthened and integrated if we want to step into our full power. \nDuring this workshop we will connect and work with the universal spirit essences of the four directions – the east\, west\, south and north – outside and within. We will use shamanic journeying with drums and gongs\, medicine wheel teachings and ceremony\, movement and meditation to access the four directions within the cycles of life\, exploring\, understanding\, strengthening and empowering them within ourselves. \n  \nThe workshop wil lbe facilitated by myself and Sally Free from sounds for the Soul \n

SUMMARY:Shamanic Soul Journeys: Balance and Increase your Energy and Personal Power
DESCRIPTION:This new one-day workshop in the series ‘deep shamanic soul journeys’ is about increasing your personal energetic power. It is for everybody who is on a journey to reach their highest potential. \nOur ability to create on an energetic and material level depends greatly on the balance and strength of our energy systems. These systems\, recognised in eastern spirituality as chakras and in indigenous cultures as energy centres\, need to be charged\, balanced and work with each other in harmony for you to achieve your highest potential. \nIn this workshop you will work with your personal energies and the manifestation of them in your life. We will use shamanic journeying with drums and gongs to explore\, charge and balance your energy and your chakras\, working from the base up to the crown. We will also use the sound and vibrations of Tibetan bowls for sonic massage and movement to re-charge and re-balance and learn how to use intentions\, visualisations to influence our energy levels and how to draw upon spiritual upon and integrate spiritual powers available to us\, such as earth forces\, ancestral energies and spirit guides. \n  \nPlease note that our ‘Deep shamanic soul Journey’ workshops usually fill quickly. Book early. \n  \nThe workshop will be facilitated by: myself together with Sally Free – holistic practitioner\,  sound healer and gong player extraordinaire. http://soundsforthesoul.co.uk

SUMMARY:Healing the Divided Self and Traveling Home: Soul Retrieval Training
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL\nSoul Retrieval Training Course\nThis three-day non-residential experiential training course will teach you the ancient tool of Soul Retrieval\, adjusted to contemporary practice. According to shamanic teachings\, every one of us had to split-off parts of our psyche\, mainly during our childhood. This diminished our physical\, mental\, emotional and spiritual potential\, fragmented us and severed the connection to our deepest and authentic selves. As these split-off parts are no longer available to us\, our vital authentic energetic powers and potentials are curtailed . \nIn ancient psycho-spiritual teaching the retrieval and re-integration of such split-off parts of our selves is seen as the most vital step towards becoming whole. Like modern psycho-therapeutic dissociation approaches\, the practice of Soul Retrieval therefore aims to retrieve and re-integrate those parts as without them people are unable to heal and lead creative authentic lives\, which are meaningful and purposeful\, and reach their potential. \nSome split-off parts can be retrieved by ourselves\, but shamanic practitioners have always assumed that certain parts are difficult to access by the individual as they have fled to the ‘other worlds’  They therefore journey into the unconscious and parallel realms\, using deep trance states\, to retrieve lost soul parts\, utilising their vast knowledge about those realms and the teachers and helpers available. \nDuring this course you will learn how retrieve parts for yourself and others. You can integrate this within your therapeutic or healing practice\, your shamanic work or just utilise it for yourself. \n  \nCourse content\n\nThe shamanic concept of Soul Loss\nThe contemporary concept of dissociation\nShamanic Worlds: lower- upper and middle worlds\nShamanic helpers for Soul Retrieval: power animals & spirit guides\nJourneying to retrieve split-off parts \nRetrieving split-off parts for your clients \nGrounding and Integrating of the retrieved soul parts: shamanic and modern concepts\n\n\n  \nEligible:\nPsychologists\, therapeutic practitioners\, counsellors\, healers\, body therapists\, Reiki- and other energy practitioners and lay-people with some previous experience in shamanism and/or journeying. \n  \nFees & Venue\n\nEarly bird fees: £ 225.00 ( before 15th September 2021) \nFull Fees: £275.00 \nThe course fees include a non-refundable deposit of £ 50.00 unless the course is cancelled \nParticipants will receive an email with joining instructions and further information early October 2021. \nVenue: Horn Village Hall in Chalfont St Peter is a delightful venue in easy reach from London by car and by train. See map details. \n  \nFacilitation\nThis course will be taught by myself with the assistance of Roy Sunley\, a renowned spiritual teacher and highly skilled international Medium\, Quantum Touch instructor and Reiki Master teacher. \nFor more information about Roy Sunley’s amazing work\, please click into his website http://www.roysunley.co.uk

SUMMARY:GreenSpirit Annual Gathering - Shamanism: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life and Healing
DESCRIPTION:I will be the main facilitator – shamanic workshops and Cacao ceremony – and speaker at the Green Spirit Annual Gathering\, which takes place from the 29th September to 1st October in Derbyshire. The gathering is residential\, in a beautiful estate\, very reasonably priced and everybody is welcome. \nIf you are interested\, please check the info on the organisers website and book directly: GREENSPIRIT.org   \n  \nMore information from the host:  \nShamanism has been practiced for centuries all over the world and is based on the principle that humans are part of the totality of nature. Interest in shamanic practices is increasing. Around the world shamans are known as healers with connections with the spirit world who understand how humans can achieve balance and harmony. \nWe welcome Christa Mackinnon who will give us an overview of traditional and contemporary shamanism\, the shamanic view of the world and the human being within the web of life. Her talk will then address various universal shamanic key concepts and their applications through psycho-spiritual approaches and practices for healing of the individual and the community. \nAfter her talk we have the opportunity to take a shamanic journey that invites participants to connect with and nourish their Earth Souls. \nThis will be followed by a sharing circle. \nAs part of our weekend we will also join together in a heart-opening\, transformational cacao ceremony. Cacao is the Amazonian plant medicine known as the ‘Food of the Gods’ and the ‘Food of Love’. \nThe weekend will start at the evening meal on the Friday and will end after lunch on the Sunday. During the weekend we will also have a chance to connect with each other and the natural world with some ceremony and meditations\, creative activities\, informal conversations\, and\, after our AGM on Sunday\, have the chance to share what we are taking away from the weekend. \nAll food during the weekend will be vegetarian. Vegan or other diets for medical reasons can be catered for. \nEveryone is very welcome to this event; you do not need to be a GreenSpirit member to join in. Our gatherings are a mixture of old friends and new and we look forward to meeting you.
