It is in the convergence of spiritual people becoming active, and active people becoming spiritual, that the hope of humanity now rests –Van Jones
What is Sacred Earth Activism?
Sacred Earth Activism is an organisation that was envisaged and co-founded by myself and Jonathan Weekes in response to hearing the call for change and transformation that needs to take place if we want to live sustainable, humane and fulfilled lives, infused with a sense of connection to earth and the sacred. We see ourselves as part of the increasing world-wide movement that works towards change and transformation and have grown into a substantial organisation, with a core team as well as volunteers. We are involved with spiritual and earth-centered actions in various political and ecological movements, facilitating gatherings and training for sacred activists and organise conferences
Sacred Earth Activism offers:
Activism: works with the intent of bringing the sacred and earth-centered spiritual actively into the web of change movements through supporting, co-ordinating and initiating movements, protests, resistance initiatives, projects and change-makers.
Conferences & Earth Talks: creates conferences, summits and talks, bringing together earth wisdom teachers, activists in various change movements and thought leaders.
Monthly Gatherings & Working Groups: facilitates meetings for people who want to get active in various areas, such as water and land protection, climate change, ecocide, sacred site activations, rewilding and more.
